PIZZA WITH PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM SAUCE

Ingredients

  • One 10-ounce container Giovanni Rana Portobello Mushroom Sauce
  • One 14-ounce ball of pizza dough
  • 8 ounce mozzarella cheese chopped and pat dry
  • 2 ounce soft goat cheese crumbled
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450° F. Lightly coat a baking sheet or pizza pan with olive oil. Stretch pizza dough into a 12 inch-diameter round. Very lightly drizzle the dough with olive oil, using your hands to spread the oil around. Sprinkle dough with a small pinch of salt and pepper.

Top pizza evenly with chopped mozzarella cheese and crumbled goat cheese, then spoon over Portobello mushroom sauce.

Place pizza into oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve immediately.
